Jeeps might be better if they were built decently. Instead, they barely screw them together with the shoddiest craftsmanship imaginable. A shame they aren’t decent vehicles.
To say Jeeps are a joke only outs you as an utter moron. All are good 4x’s in my opinion. The FJ’s major weakness it its IFS. Throw a solid up front & it would be much better off. I think it’d be best to trim some of its body fat as well to keep repair cost down. By the way, where’s the rest of the trail? This video shows only a small portion. Where are the tougher sections?

What is up with the fanboy comments. Why did the H3 get best small suv 4×4 then. The alpha was a close second to the jk rubicon 4 door for best overall 4×4 in four wheeler. H3’s FJ’s and Wranglers are pretty much the only true 4×4’s left.

no they are not. h3’s are just street cars with some off road ability. you can easily compare jeeps and fj’s which are pretty much equal in alot of areas but you can never compare an fj to am h3 and even try to think for a second that the h3 can compete

x2 I have an FJ. I almost bought the 4dr JK rubicon. I still love the JK, but rather have a toyota vehicle. I don’t understand the FJ’s suck mentality by some jeepers. None of the Jeep guys i go ride with are like that. They love seeing something different and do well out on the trail.

Uhm… actually we took 5 H2’s and 3 H3’s through from Loon to Tahoma with no breakage and none of the drama associated with the FJ’s.

Great vid. I am a jeep person and am getting really sick of the fact that people are trashing on the FJ. Both are great 4×4s. Each are strong in their own areas. I do not see FJ people trashing all over jeep vids, so please return the favor.
