How do you control the winch
Do you have to add a controller on your dash or what
Nice winch, gay video. Just one man’s opinion.
5 STARS FOR THE MUSIC !!!!!!
That mount is sick!
where did u find that bumper for the winch?.. that is bad ass
dude if you put All terrain Bf Goodrich you will have the perfect ATV
We don’t have much snow here in Australia, but I’m curious: can snow storms over there get bad enough to clog your snorkel.
If your snorkel was facing forwards (as most do), if it clogged with snow, do you think that the melted snow could enter the intake?
I’ve had problems driving along a worn tracks, the tire tracks can get too deep for the wheels, and the body will ‘beach’ in the center.
I think then, you would have two options.
Using a front winch to pull you through, or if you are a sissy, an hand winch to turn the car around.
Winches aren’t useless, especially if you are in a place with no-one to help you.
Like here in Australia.
The only negative pints about the car is the windshield is almost at a 90 degree angle which will increase the chances for rocks hitting the window and chipping it.
also the back seats don’t have any opening windows, and theres a pretty big blind spot between the 2 windows on each side. But I love this car, I drive it for work.
Alrighty,
Thanks!
All it will cause is more back pressure, which will actually increase torque.. That said, it won’t do any damage at all.
What you need to worry about is your engine SUCKING water, through the intake ( the air filter )
But if you just go slow through it, you will be fine.
I also am not sure how deep you plan on going, but with a stock FJ I wouldn’t go all that deep, maybe 3 feet MAX!!
3/4 up to the top of the tires.
I got a question. I just got a fully loaded FJ with option C. I’m excited to take it to the mountains after winter, but have a question. How is it possible the FJ can forge water with the tail pipe submerged? Isn’t their a danger of water clogging the exhaust and possibly reaching the engine?
So you recommend this truck?? Any negative points??
but you need it so you can pull other sissy trucks out that are not such “monsters”
Good desing and power!
winch for a FJ??, is not necessary, FJ is a monster….
i wish i could LEASE one. i bought one so i am really anal. if i leased one i could give a shit what i do to it
